Taiga's Climates
Taiga's climate is extremely cold. During the winter the lowest temperature may go to as low as -65 F and highest may be around 30 F. Brr!
During the summer the temperature is a huge difference. The lowest may go to around 30 F and highest may be to around 70 F! That's a lot better then the winter if you don't want to freeze to death.
In Taiga the annual or yearly amount of rainfall may be too 300 ~ 900 millimeters per year. Amazingly, Most of the rain only falls during the summer and not winter. Taiga has long winter nights while on the other hand, summer has long days.
Due to Taiga being so cold, decomposition is also very slow. Overlaying glaciated areas of patchy permafrost and both continents. When there are no clouds at all, the temperature falls drastically.
If your planning a trip here, I advise you to go during the Summer when its slightly not freezing. Being lots of clothing such as sweaters, jackets, rain coats, etc.
